Herbal Remedies
Ani-Motion
Herbs are designed to work in a truly holistic way.
The body is treated as a whole, using herbs which, through a variety of actions, will strengthen and support the horse's physiological Systems, enabling it to "heal itself'.
Herbs are a gentle therapy, and as such, will take 3-4 weeks to be absorbed into the system and have a beneficial effect. Often, once the herbs have been used for a month the dosage can be reduced to a maintenance level.
Herbs can be used safely in conjunction with conventional medicines.

"Ani-Motion has been an amazing product to have around our barn. We have a horse that
was in need of some major maintenance. He would be stiff and didn't have much "get up and go" to him.
He is definitely getting what he needs out of Ani-Motion. Now, when we turn him out, he runs and plays with the
other horses. No more aches and pains. We love having products that work great on our horses."

"The vet discovered arthritis in the knee as the cause of the lameness for months in my horse. Knee injections
proved unsuccessful. I tried AniMotion - Equilite's Devil's Claw/Yucca Blend. I could not believe my eyes when
my horse came up sound in just a five days after starting on it."

"I get great results from the AniMotion. After a hard, multiday competition or if my horses show any type
of inflammation, I put them on the AniMotion. I always see decreased inflammation by the next morning and my horses
recover and feel better much faster."

"Ani-Motion has been a wonderful addition to my program. I hardly have to use bute any more which helps with
their stomach issues. My horses train well and recover from races much easier. A wonderful help when you are working
on getting an older horse fit; it helps their achy muscles as they are coming back into training."

Ani-Motion saved our Dixie. We were thinking we would have to put her down. She has been
out playing for years now in the pasture with her pasture mates. She is a rescued mare from the Canadian PMU farms
Premarin "pee farms".
Good morning Vickie:
Well.... I have had Dixie on the Animotion anti inflammatory product for
very close to a month now. What do I see. First I see she loves the mix I
make her twice daily of 2 scoops of Animotion mixed with senior ration and
water. I am also giving her 1/2 cup of flax seed hydrated once a day. As
to her overall condition I have seen some reduction in the swelling in her
deep flexor although the area from her fetlock to just below her knee
remains swollen but with significantly less swelling . She seems to be
more interested in life and happy overall. She constantly searches for the
other horses and often calls to them. This is an improvement.
So what is my next step. I have been trying to find a chiropractor /
acupuncture specialist to work on her but they are all so far away but I
will continue to try. Her health is good, coat and mane condition are
improved and she is holding her weight better. When we first spoke you
mentioned there may be other things we could try. I am impressed by the
Animotion product and what it has done for her so far and the best part is
that it has not affected her stomach or caused her to colic. Hurray !!! I
would appreciate your expertise and input once again.
Thanks.
Dixie is benefiting by the product and so
is my heart and mind. We all win !!! Hurray for us.
1 year later....
Good morning Vickie:
My Dixie is doing just awesome. She has had a fantastic winter and she
held some weight on her this season so I am so very pleased. We continue
with chiro and massage but where she was being treated monthly she now can
go 2 months before needed an adjustment. Isn't that super? I have her on
a combination of ration twice a day, one scoop of Anitmotion twice a day,
one scoop of Glucosamine once a day and all the hay she wants to eat. As a
matter of fact when I was looking at her this morning I thought hmm..... I
may be feeding her too much and she may need to drop some weight.
Thank you for your help Vickie. You have been a real asset to my Dixie and
my heart.

Hi Vickie:
I finally have a picture of my treasured Dixie to send you. She is the
very pretty blonde in the picture with her best beau "Jake" who is the
darker horse. It was taken this year. 2012
Thank you for your kind words and your wonderful enthusiasm. Actually
Jake is a grulla. I got him at a PMU barn who was having a cast off sale
of the colts. Paid $250 for him and have been offered as much as $4500.
He is my husband's horse who will never part with him. considering how
upset my husband was when my daughter and I came home with two babies when
all we were supposed to be doing was looking. Silly boy, he should never
have left us alone. Jake is actually registerable as an uncharacteristic
appolosa.
Hi Vickie:
Dixie continues to puddle along and for a horse of 25 years she is doing
very well I think. Our vet was out the other day to float her teeth and
commented on how well she looks for her age and that she is really in good
shape, again for her age. We continue with chiro and massage and of course
the animotion. She is still very mobile and keeps up easily with our other
two younger horses. I am very pleased with her condition and have no
concerns about her health at this time. She will contune to be my
treasured project until such time as she struggles to contiune. Thank you
for inquiring about her and her health. I just love her to bits. She is
known as the "blond princess". haha !!
Wonderful. I would like her story to be:
At age 21 years Dixie, a treasure palomino quarter horse faced probably one
of the greatest challenges of her life and her owners. Dixie had become so
stiff and sore from an old front right deep flexor injury when she was
younger that I was now faced with the heartbreaking decision of putting her
to rest.
I couldn't bear to lose her but I couldn't watch her suffer any
longer for the sake of my heart. I dug deep and decided I would give it
one last shot at trying to find some method of helping her comfort level
improve so she could be with me just a little longer.
I set a date of not
making her go through another winter if her pain and comfort level did not
improve. I jumped on the internet and typed in holistic equine pain
products. The My Fine Equine site appeared and on that list was a anti-
inflamatory product called Animotion.
I ordered a jug and waited patiently
for it to show up. When it arrived I began treating Dixie with Animotion
and after 60 days the improvement started to show.
I was beyond happy but
I remained cautious and respectful of the winter deadline. I also added
chiropractic and massage as part of Dixie's regime as well as adding milled
flax and glucosamine
I firmly believe that all these treatements combined have helped Dixie but
most importantly and first was Animotion and it effects for pain relief
and swelling. Today at age 25 Dixie continues to thrive and maintain great
condition all year round and has no trouble keeping up with our younger
horses.
I am very pleased with her condition and have no
concerns about her health at this time. She will contune to be my
treasured project until such time as she struggles to contiune. I just
love her to bits. She is
known as the "blond princess". haha !!
A huge thank you to Vickie Stevens of My Fine Equine for her support,
encouragement and expertise throughout these years. From Dixie's heart to
yours, thank you.
How's that Vickie. I can get you a this year's picture of her. I would
love to show you there is really very little difference between the
pictures. The 2010 inquiry is ok to use. Thank you for thinking of us and
our story.
